Tree Removal

Although tree removal is a last resort, there are many circumstances that require the decision. Let one of our certified arborists help you decide whether a tree should be removed or not. We have the skills and equipment to safely and efficiently remove your trees.

When is removal necessary?

Many trees live as long as 200-300 years, making them an investment to last through the generations. We will do everything in our power to assist you in making the choice as well as advise you the best way possible to keep your home’s landscape attractive and safe. It may be the last choice you’d prefer but the wisest one to make.

Removal is recommended if:

  • The tree is dead or dying.
  • The tree is irreparably hazardous.
  • The tree is causing an obstruction that pruning cannot correct.
  • The tree is crowding or harming other trees.
  • The tree is to be replaced by a most suitable specimen.
  • The tree needs to be removed to allow new construction.
  • The tree is diseased.

If you answer “yes” to any of the questions on the Tree Hazard Checklist, or see any of defects, your tree needs to be examined by a Certified Arborist.

Treatment

Methods of treatment used for a particular insect or disease will depend on the species involved, the extent of the problem, and the variety of other factors specific to the situation as well as the local regulations. Always consult a professional.
