Once the tree has been cut to ground level or removed, we then use a machine to grind and shred the stump 6″ to 8″ below ground level. As a result of grinding the tree stump, mulch and wood chips are formed. We then level the newly formed hole to the ground and remove all excess mulch and debris for a nice finished look. After a period of time, the remaining portion will decay along with the roots surrounding it.
Public utilities will be marked by local agencies under Branch Tree’s instruction. The property owner is responsible for marking irrigation lines and invisible fencing.
Tree stumps are measured at the widest point. From root flare to root flare, where the stump comes out of the ground (not just the top of the stump).
